Terms of Service

Last updated: October 4, 2026

These terms are between you (and your school) and Aurora Virtual Reality Centre Inc. ("Aurora VR").

  1. What we provide. Aurora VR brings a mobile VR arena, equipment and trained staff to your school and runs the visit.
  2. Requests and confirmation. Submitting a booking creates a request. A visit is confirmed only when we confirm it, and we may decline or change a date based on availability.
  3. Your account. Keep your sign-in secure, give accurate information, and share booking codes only with colleagues at your school.
  4. Pricing. The activity price is per student, with lower per-student rates as the total number of students on a booking grows. Visits outside our local area include a travel charge, and where an overnight stay is required, accommodation is billed at actual cost. Prices shown before confirmation are estimates. If a change raises the total, we will tell you and ask you to accept it. The final invoice is based on the number of students who actually take part.
  5. Payment. We invoice after the visit. Payment is due on receipt.
  6. Cancellation. You can cancel free of charge up to 14 days before the first visit date. After that, we bill costs we have already incurred, such as non-refundable accommodation or travel.
  7. Space and setup. The school provides roughly 7 m × 7 m of clear floor space and access to one power outlet. We bring everything else, and need about 1 to 1.5 hours to set up and the same to pack up.
  8. Safety and participation. VR can cause discomfort such as dizziness, and it isn't suitable for everyone. Students may stop at any time. Please tell us in advance about known concerns such as photosensitive epilepsy. Our staff lead the VR experience and the activities for students waiting their turn. Teachers remain in charge of their class and responsible for its supervision throughout the visit. You're also responsible for following your school board's policies on student participation and parent or guardian notification.
  9. Content. The website and the VR experiences belong to Aurora VR or its licensors. Don't copy or record them without permission.
  10. Governing law. Alberta law applies and Alberta courts have jurisdiction.
  11. Changes and contact. We may update these terms, and the version in effect when you book applies. Questions: info@auroravr.ca.
